Letting Go
Inspired by Sean Kingston's song Letting Go
I am comfortable
Stable
For once this time I like the place that my feet are standing
I'm at peace
I'm vulnerable
Those racing thought stopped, when you looked at me
Can't remember if I'm breathing
So I take a breath
A Deep one
and when I exhaled...I felt free
This time I'm letting go for you
Take advantage
Guide me as if I was your puppet
Command me as if you were my master
Fill me with your life as if I were dead
Letting Go has called for
Pride and Shame to disappear
At least for tonight
Still Waiting
I'm still Waiting
For Love and Happyness
Waiting for Equality
That this Great Democracy Says We Have
I'm waiting for
The Cure to this Virus that I know they have, but if you don't have the right Ca$h. You gotta start planing your own funeral.
I'm waiting for Help
In Darfur and Hati
Waiting for people to stop protesting
Because there is Nothing more to protest
I know that some may have forgotten
But I'm still waiting for God..Anticipating His return...While others look over it
I'm still waiting for
$$$ signs and big city lights to stop mesmorizing our generation and stealing their souls in the process
Ready for people to stop hiding who they are, just to fit someone elses standards
Waiting for the pressure to lift off that young boy or girls' shoulder becuse Daddy wasn't there
Waiting for real men to take care of their children...weather or not they're yours
Waiting for that Hood Mentality to pass
I know...I'm still waiting for music to be like it use to be....shout out to all the real musicians
Waiting to erase the secrects...
pain...stress...hate...judgement...misunderstanding...single babymommas...Welfare...Drama...discrimination...and Haters of things to come
Come on people
Increase the Love
I'm still Waiting
For Everything
Everything
To Be Alright
